Serve as a Delegate

Be in the room where it happens! Delegates help determine who our Democratic candidates are for 2026.

We have 6 Conventions this year:

State Convention 5/16/26 & 4/21/26 - Hartford starting around 10am. Governor, Lt Governor, Attorney General,Secretary of the State, Treasurer, Comptroller

Congressional District 5 5/11/26

State Senate 5/18/26 7pm - Canton

State Representative District 17 5/20/26 6pm- Lisa’s Crown and Hammer in Collinsville if you vote ate Avon High or Roaring Brook you are eligible for this

State Representative District 19 5/20/26 West Hartford - if you vote ate Thompson Brook you are eligible for this

Judge of Probate 5/21/26 Avon Town Hall 7pm

Delegates will be elected on March 30th at 7PM during a DTC meeting called for that purpose.

Any registered Democrat in district may serve as a delegate. Avon DTC encourages people to sign up and get involved! There are a number of primaries this year and your voice matters more than ever.
